With the generous support of the Standard and Poor's Corporation, Roosevelt & Cross, and Build America Mutual:

Since 2008 Northeast Women in Public Finance has sponsored a mentoring program designed to enhance careers and provide personal benefits for women from all areas of public finance throughout the tri-state area.  Over 200 women have participated as either mentors or mentees.

Don't miss this opportunity to participate in NEWPF's Mentoring Program. Please join us as we kick off a new cycle:

Join us on

Speed Mentoring Event: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Hosted by Standard and Poor's at
McGraw Hill's Offices:

(enter on 49th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues)

At that time we will, once again, talk about the program, answer your questions and match up mentors and "mentees".

The event is free to attend. All are welcome to attend; however, only paid in full members of Northeast Women in Public Finance are eligible to participate in the mentoring program.

If you are a member of NEWPF and would like to participate as a mentor or mentee, but cannot attend on March 6, please send an email to Amanda Moros at amanda.moros@standardandpoors.com.

We are excited about this mentoring program.  We feel the success of the program is greatly enhanced by the fact that NEWPF has such a diversity of membership in terms of professional fields and experience in the public finance industry.  Being mentored or being a mentor is a great opportunity to enrich one's own career or that of a colleague.

Learn more specifics about the NEWPF Mentoring Program in this one-page summary.

Please join us in participating in the mentoring program and pass along the word to other women in your organization.  We will have cocktails and hors d'oeuvres starting at 5:30 pm so everyone can say hello to old friends and meet new ones.  The mentoring part of the program will begin at approximately 6 pm and go to approximately 8:00 pm. We know you will benefit from participating, personally and professionally, and it should also be fun!  Looking forward to seeing you on March 6th!

RSVP as soon as possible since space is limited, but no later than close of business on Friday, February 28th.

NEWPF Co-Presidents: Vivian Altman and Kimberly Lyons

Speed Mentoring Event Committee: Freda Johnson, Diane Brosen, Robin Prunty, Jessalyn Moro, Elaine Brennan, Lisa Cole, Ana Yordanov
