On June 18th, Northeast Women in Public Finance will host its second annual “Featured Project of the Year” event with a presentation on the Hudson Yards Development Project.
The Featured Project of the Year profiles interesting/innovative developments that involve the public and private sectors working together. The series presents projects that are noteworthy for their community involvement, innovative architectural design, environmental stewardship, unique financing structure or other aspects that make the project of interest to NEWPF membership.
This event will be hosted jointly with KPMG at their offices at 345 Park Avenue. At this event, Ann Weisbrod, President of Hudson Yards Development Corporation, will discuss one of the largest development projects in New York City - from the original vision, to the complicated financing structure, to the completion of the subway extension and the signing of the very first tenants.
Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres (including beer and wine) will be served following the presentation at KPMG’s offices. The cost of the event will be $40 for non-members and free for NEWPF members.
As the Hudson Yards Project should be of interest to a wide audience, we expect the event will sell out quickly. Please register ASAP.
Location: KPMG 345 Park Avenue New York, New York
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 18, 2013 6:30 pm
Event registration will begin at 6:30 pm with the program beginning promptly at 7:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before 7:00 pm.
