Since 2008 Northeast Women in Public Finance has sponsored a Mentoring Program designed to enhance careers and provide personal benefits for professionals from all areas of public finance throughout the tri-state area.

NEWPF continues to believe that lifting each other up, whether in person or virtually, plays an enormous role in these trying times.

This year, the Mentoring Kickoff event will be held virtually. We hope to host in-person events this year, depending on circumstances. Like last year, we are going to include more networking events, career coaching discussions, and other programs for mentees/mentors to stay connected.

If you are outside of the tri-state area and would like to participate, we welcome you to become a member, too. Click here to join NEWPF. (Only paid in full members of Northeast Women in Public Finance are eligible to be paired with a mentor.)

Our goal for this event is to allow each prospective mentee to meet all of our mentors in breakout rooms so that they can then provide us with their top three choices for mentor.

We feel the success of the program is greatly enhanced by the fact that NEWPF has such a diversity of membership in terms of professional fields and experience in the public finance industry. Being mentored or being a mentor is a great opportunity to enrich one's own career or that of a colleague.
