About the Event:

Did you know that psychologists have found that talking to strangers helps us feel happier, less lonely, and more connected, optimistic, and empathetic? Learning to do it well helps us expand our social and professional networks, and gain access to new perspectives, ideas, and experiences. Joe Keohane, author of the acclaimed book The Power of Strangers: The Benefits of Connecting in a Suspicious World, will take us through the many benefits of these seemingly simple interactions, discussing what keeps us from having them, and providing practical tips on mastering the art of talking to strangers.
