The Municipal Bond Tax Exemption in Perspective: You Don’t Know What You’ve Got ‘Til It’s Gone

Join us at the Harvard Club for a panel discussion on the past and future of the municipal bond tax exemption!

Date and Time:
Wednesday, June 7, 2017
5:30 - 8:30 pm

Description:
With the upcoming tax reform debate and the Trump Administration's focus on private sources of financing infrastructure needs, NEWPF is hosting a panel discussion focused on the role that municipal bonds—and the municipal bond tax exemption—has played in the development of our public infrastructure. The panel will reflect on the history of our current method of financing public infrastructure and what the benefits of tax exemption have been, as well as on possible future changes and how current uncertainty is affecting investors and issuers today.

The panel discussion will be followed by a reception and the opportunity to meet our panelists and visit with friends and colleagues.
