Impacting the Muni Market:
Hedge Fund Participation

Does the entrance of hedge funds and alternative buyers change the landscape and dynamics of the more traditional municipal market?

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

NEWPF is hosting a panel discussion focused on: how does hedge funds participation in the muni market impact the buying of traditional buyers, deal structures, yields and overall market liquidity and volatility. Are these buyers here to stay for the long term?

Panelists will include representatives from traditional municipal funds as well as hedge funds and alternative investors.

The Event will be held at Citigroup's Conference Facility at 53rd and Lexington.

Panelists include:

  • Susan Courtney, Prudential
  • Julie Morrone, Rosemawr
  • Thea Okin, Western Asset Management

The panel discussion will be followed by a reception and the opportunity to meet our panelists and visit with friends and colleagues.
